The Minuet:

A bookshelf speaker suitable for 2 channel audio as well as home theater, can be used near CRTs. Despite its small size it has the ability to fill a medium-sized room with over 90 db.of music. The tweeter domes are 3/4 in., delivering exceptional detail with a nearly live performance, offering remarkably nimble clarity and tonal accuracy. The woofer is shielded, with coated paper cones and a rubber surround on a cast frame. The speaker is superb in a two channel stereo system; in a 5 channel home theater system it is exceptional. With a 15 watt tube amp these speakers sound open and musical with more than enough bass for most music. With a solid state amp of modest cost; 10 watts will produce over 90 db, without distortion. With high quality sourcing, the speaker is very coherent, casting a fully dimensional stage.

Alignment is an EBS. We use low tension hand wound inductors, high oxygen silver plated internal wiring, foil capacitors, 1% ceramic high power resistors. The crossovers are mounted on vibration blocking matting. The Minuet is a fine choice for jazz, acoustic, classical and popular recordings.

A few words on the Minuet:

Hand made, we build the cabinets here, with the best veneers money can buy. The crossovers are assembled and tested, the coils hand wound high purity low tension copper wire. The resistors are precession high current, film foil capacitors. The cabinet tuning is critical, years of listening to get the whole sound where it is. A musical speaker, that customers love.
