The Presto:

Using a 4 in. carbon fiber woofer with a 1 in. silk dome tweeter, the speaker produces not only coherent detail and stage but an articulate bass. We have worked for years mastering the engineering required to balance the woofers natural damping with its appropriate crossover. We feel the final result allows the speaker to achieve a voice that is detailed as well as musical.

Hand made cabinets and crossovers, low tension high purity copper coils and 1% high power resistors, silver coated copper internal wiring with Teflon coating,  loaded on vibration damping pads. Each element is chosen through exhaustive listening. The crossover design is the culmination of many hundreds of hours of testing, measuring, auditioning and voicing.

The Presto is an ideal choice for a kitchen, office, library or small room. As nimble as the speaker is, it will outperform speakers selling for many times its price. With a small solid state amp the speaker will produce over 90 db’s of music without distortion. With a 10 watt tube amp, the fidelity is superb.

We are now producing the speaker in not only a painted version, but a veneered one. Cherry, maple and oak are standard. We are able to custom veneer to order, pricing on request.
